  15. hi stellaconcepts
a lot of us are looking at this very interesting idea, but see there is no reference, other than a friend of a friend

what would make this rumour grow legs is a confirmation of the name of the TV station, date and name of the show, in simplified chinese characters or pinyin

then some of us can get to work and secure a copy of that info for youtube

a lot of people read this channel and given the dramatic assertion, it behooves you to back it up with some muscle :)

  27. So the price inside China should fall, especially if they still allow gold imports. Chinese citizens cannot easily exchange their Renminbi outside China. Now, they will not be able to leave the country with their wealth stored in gold. Next, will come strict currency exchange controls. Methinks the Chinese government is herding it’s people into an unescapable corner. I wonder how much foreign currency their government is still holding.

  29. I don’t think so. What we have today is a new class of people that have power over citizens and that is the political class. They are not servants of the people. They live according to their own rules. Just google congressional perks and you will be shocked by all the freebies they have voted to themselves. Unelected judges interpret our constitution. This political class needs to go, all of them from both parties. This country needs an old fashioned revival with a voters revolution.

  31. tfrenn, thank you for the reply. I confess I’m not very conversant with the constitution of my own country.

But has that stopped any of the other questionable things going on, like no Obama birth cert, or having dual-citizenship entities in high-power gubmint positions, or even the passage of the Patriot Act?

I’m not arguing, just asking, ‘cuz I don’t know. Is it possible this Stockholm thing will be rammed home anyway?

  33. It is unconstitutional for any agreement or treaty between our govt and any other country that supersedes our constitution.

  35. @ a8865686 – nor would I. Nor would I want to turn red, brown, green or striped from other mineral supplements I take.

I guess you better check the difference between “supplement” and “overdose”, eh? :-)

  37. Well you can put a rotten egg at the bottom of a bottle of water, and you’ll notice a distinctly new/different taste… Silver has health benefits, sure, but I wouldn’t want to be using it as some kind of regular supplement, and end up turning purple from argyria.

  39. Well, Brainman, you might be right – whadda I know?

But apparently the uber-commie FDR did it to Americans on April 5, 1933, with Presidential Executive Order 6102.

“All persons are hereby required to deliver on or before May 1, 1933, to a Federal Reserve bank or a branch or agency thereof or to any member bank of the Federal Reserve System all gold coin, gold bullion, and gold certificates now owned by them…”

  41. They can make it illegal to stop hoarding PMs – but they cant make it retrospective – ie all those who had the foresight to invest in it deserve compensation if they want to confiscate it – I will be happy to hand my silver over for $500 an ounce.

  42. Brainman94 on December 18th, 2009
  43. I am an Aussie so I don’t really understand the constitution as well as Americans but I gather it is a big time issue for you guys, as it should be. That is interesting news about the treat,y I will watch the vid, good one.

  45. BM2000 – They let the inmates have computers now?

How’s that working out? Less meds required, or…?

  47. Doc – no that doesn’t make it “colloidal”.

BUT…in the “old days” great-grandma used to put a silver dollar in the milk jug, to keep the milk fresh.

I have an ugly old sterling silver ring which I keep in the bottom of my bottle of cold water in the fridge.

I swear when I first started that, I noticed a distinctively new/different taste to the water.

Sure can’t hurt. But doesn’t replace the awesome power of CS. ;-)

  49. I only wish they would start talking about 200 years ago – and what the constitution means.

Obama apparently poised to sign international treaty in December in Stockholm which will cement the world into one entity. Treaty language supersedes even our Constitution.

I think this might be serious stuff, folks.

And may even render hoarding of PMs illegal…
