UK Inflation up to 3.5% (Jan 2010)
The UK Consumer Price Index has seen a big jump to 3.5%. They say that this is partly because of the rise of VAT back to 17.5% and because the cold spell in the UK increased the price of vegetables! Are the inflationary effects of the so-called quantitative easing even being felt yet, or are those yet to come?
